At our fitness courses in Berlin we offer a wide range of courses including boxing, kickboxing, back training, women's fitness and functional training.

The fitness courses have a maximum number of 6 participants. This allows the trainer to focus on the individual athletes, check their exercise performance and motivate them. The fun of movement is the main focus. Everyone is welcome, whether beginner or professional. If required we also coach in English language.

HIIT Workout

 

If you want to build muscle, burn fat and strengthen your back, you've come to the right place. In this course you can expect a varied functional training using equipment such as TRX bands, Kettlebells and medicine balls.

 

After the warm up with mobilizing and activating Movement Flows, we strengthen your whole body in a circuit training and finally bring your endurance to a new level with a highly intensive interval training.


Boxing WORKOUT

 

In this course you train your endurance, speed and coordination with boxing exercises. Here you can let off steam and form an athletic body.

 

We teach you the basic punching and defense techniques with the help of punching bag training, shadow boxing and partner exercises. At the end of the workout, we do exercises to strengthen the trunk muscles and conclude with loosening exercises for the shoulder and neck area.

Kick BOXing WORKOUT

 

In this varied martial arts training you can really work out with kicks and punches. Besides endurance, speed and coordination, we also improve your mobility, especially in the hip area.

 

The unit starts with extensive stretching and warm up. With the help of equipment such as punching bags and kick pads, different variations of foot, knee and fist punches are subsequently taught. You will release accumulated frustration and let excess pounds drop.

 



PREVENTION COURSES IN BERLIN

Our prevention courses take place in fixed periods of 10 weeks each. You can register for them via our contact form up to one week before the specified start date. A large part of the course fee of 130€ is usually refunded by health insurance companies. Please contact your health insurance company to get a confirmation of cost coverage before registering for the course.

SPINAL COLUMN GYMNASTICS

 

This course helps people who are already suffering from back pain or want to prevent it. Through the combination of relaxation and strengthening exercises, imbalances in the musculoskeletal system are reduced and posture is improved.

 

We use equipment such as massage rolls, resistance bands and small dumbbells. In addition, we teach exercises that the participants can use independently in everyday life to keep their back strong and pain-free.

YoungMamaFit

 

Specially designed for young mothers, this course simultaneously improves body shape and fitness. Through functional strength and flexibility exercises, the skin's appearance is improved and incorrect posture associated with pain is corrected. We use TRX bands, Kettlebells, massage rolls and much more.

 

A special focus is placed on strengthening the core muscles (pelvic floor, abdomen, lower back). In addition, we provide the participants with effective exercises for independent execution at home.

 

 



PROCEDURE OF THE FITNESS COURSES

WELCOME

At the beginning, the trainer explains the process and the focus of the course. The participants have the opportunity to express questions and wishes..

Warm up

The course starts with mobilizing and activating exercises. The aim is to prepare the body for the exhausting main part of the course and to avoid injuries.

MAIN PART

Now, depending on the focus, exercises are performed to improve performance and body shaping. The trainer teaches difficult and easy variations of the exercises so that everyone is challenged but no one is overstrained.

Cool Down

The course concludes with relaxing, loosening exercises. This initiates regeneration and gives the participants a pleasant body feeling at the end of the course.

WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS REGARDING COVID-19/CORONA?

According to the legal regulations, our courses can take place without any restrictions. We minimize the risk of infection by keeping a distance between the participants, regular surface disinfection and ventilation of the premises.

WHICH COURSE SUITS ME BEST?

Our courses are suitable for all levels. Depending on your training goals and preferences, you can choose your favorite or attend several courses. Each of our courses has a positive influence on body shape, well-being and performance.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE COURSE?

To participate in our courses you will need comfortable sportswear, a towel and something to drink. We recommend training barefoot or in sports socks. But clean sports shoes are also ok.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I ATTEND FITNESS CLASSES?

In order to build up a good state of health and fitness, we recommend three training sessions per week. In addition to fitness courses, these can also consist of personal training or other sports activities.

WHERE DO THE COURSES TAKE PLACE?

All fitness courses take place in the "Sportsfreund" Gym (Belforter Str. 16, 10405 Berlin). Here we have optimal conditions for effective training in a personal atmosphere. The gym is located in the basement. Changing rooms are available.

HOW MUCH DO THE FITNESS COURSES COST?

JDepending on the package booked, the fee is between 14€ and 23€ per fitness course. A trial training is free of charge. Also with an L-, or XL-membership at the Urban Sports Club you can attend our fitness courses.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FITNESS AND PREVENTION COURSES?

In contrast to the continuous fitness courses, the prevention courses take place once a week for a fixed period of 10 weeks. You can register for these courses in advance and get a large part of the costs of 130€ refunded by your health insurance.

HOW TO FIND US

Our gym is located at Belforter Straße 16, 10405 Berlin/Prenzlauer Berg. Located directly at the water tower in the Kollwitzkiez, it is easily accessible by public transport. Either you take the Tram M2 and stop at Prenzlauer Allee/Metzer Straße, which is located directly at the gym, or you take the U2 to Senefelder Platz and walk another 5 minutes to reach us.
